According to the Western world, today is the last day of the year. This date is synonymous with celebration, so we’ll eat and drink, perhaps until we can’t anymore, dance all night, watch fireworks, hear words from the president, and everywhere we’ll hear “Happy New Year!!!” The world becomes effervescent.
